Jackson Queen

Jackson David Queen,  beloved rat terrier and best friend, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, January 31. He was 10 years old.  Jackson came to his forever home and immediately captured the hearts of his two humans in May 2010, when he was 5 months old. He was passionate about life, good food, hunting lizards and loving on his family.  He often just stared at his mom and dad, true love radiating from his beautiful brown eyes. Jackson was a snuggler, and spent his nights commanding the center spot in his mom and dad’s king size bed. He loved a good treat, a good belly rub, and a good meal. Jackson never met a stranger and loved making new canine friends wherever he went. Left behind to cherish the memory of his larger than life personality are his mom and dad, Sandra and Marty Queen, and his brother, Carter Martin Queen.  Jackson’s family would like to thank Dr. John Owens and Animal Hospital of Marion for their exceptional care of and love for their baby. Beam’s Funeral Service provided stellar care in taking care of Jackson’s earthly remains.  Please hold your fur babies a little closer and don’t ever take them for granted. And please consider making a donation to your local animal rescue or animal shelter. Thank you.
